Q: QuestionHi, to person that answered my question about motion plus/the soap opera effect, I’m speaking about your “auto motion plus” setting. Can you please tell me if that specific setting can be completely shut off on the Serif? And where can I see that? Thanks!

Q: QuestionHi, on the 2022 Serif, can you play video files such as MP4, AVI, etc. via a hard drive connected to the USB port? If so, what file extensions are supported? And does the hard drive need to be formatted for PC or Mac or will it accept both formats? Thanks

• A:Answer Jay - On 2022 TVs, Auto Motion Plus has been renamed as Picture Clarity Settings. Within Picture Clarity Settings, you can select Picture Clarity (formerly Auto Motion Plus) to change the setting to Off, Auto, or Custom. If you select Custom, three additional options are available: Blur Reduction, Judder Reduction, and LED Clear Motion. ~ Samsung Specialist

• A:Answer Hi Jay - You can adjust the Picture Clarity Settings by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings. - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction. ~ Samsung Specialist
