• The door on the DV400GWHDWR and other Samsung dryers opens to the side, and can be set up to open to the right or the left. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

• This has a side opening door which can be reversed.

• This dryer opens from either side. It can be changed to either side very easily.

• Opens to the side. You have to "pause" dryer prior to opening it or cloths might fall out. I have done it. :)
