- Answer Hey Alex! This model is a gas powered model, so it will need to be connected to a gas line in order to dry the clothes. However, a water line is only needed if you wish to use any of the steam functions. If your home does not have a gas line, check out some of our electric models (https://bit.ly/2ZkpSgA). ^Jecca

- Answer Hello VJay! The normal dry cycle for this dryer on Normal mode runs from 45 mins to 1hr and 15 mins. Depends on if you have it on ECO dry or not. ^Penny

- Answer We didn't experience this issue when our dryer was installed. That being said, I am completely dissatisfied with our Samsung washer and dryer in general. Would never buy another Samsung product. Our purchase was an expensive moment of stupidity.
