“I do not plan on stacking my dryer and washer - do I need a pedestal for the dryer? What is its purpose besides adding height?”

• Overall stacked height is around 78 inches or so, make sure there's enough height space for pedestal. Besides, adding pedestal will have problem reaching the control panel, unless an individual is 7 ft tall.

• No. I do not use the pedestals. They add height and extra storage in must cases.

• No you don't have to have it.I do not have a pedestal. It can be a place for storage. I tis easier for someone like me who is 5'8 but just for that I was not going to spend an extra $500.
