Does it fit in a 37" depth room with elbow etc., ? null

With the vent hose behind, in my laundry room, it is taking up about 40 in.. I am not using the thin flexible vent house because it is not recommended and the vent hose gets pretty hot. Use the heavier, less flexible vent hose.
