Does this dryer HAVE to be hooked up to water? null

In order to use the steam option the dryer does need to hooked up to water.

The dryer must be connected to a cold water tap using the provided water hoses. I am including a helpful link (https://bit.ly/2yjsj7g) to the user manual starting on page 29 to support your concerns on connecting the water hose. Thank you for choosing Samsung! ^Lena
