Yes, it can be stacked that way. However, the dryer does need 5.5'' of clearance in back for venting.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not recommend you to install the washer on the dryer. Here are the reasons: 1. Washer is almost twice heavier than the dryer. 2. Washer shakes a lot during spin circle. These all might make the process hard and may cause damage of both machines.
