- Answer Yes, it's important to use Samsung's LPKIT-3 Liquid Propane Conversion Kit to convert the Gas Dryer from natural gas to propane. Samsung recommends having this installed by a qualified technician. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

- Answer Thanks for your interest in the DV42H5000GW. This and other Samsung Gas Dryers come ready to vent out the back, or can be converted to vent out the left side or the bottom using the DV-1A vent conversion kit accessory. Top venting is not an option. - Ms. Samsung
