QuestionDryer VentOur laundry room is on the bottom floor and venting duct for the dryer goes up two floors to the roof. Will I have any issue with venting out the lint and all the air? Thanks

- Answer You will need a booster fan installed into the dryer vent duct to help get the exhaust out.

- Answer THERE IS NO NEED FOR A "GAS" DRYER TO NEED MORE THAN THE STANDARD VOLTS (120) . 220 VOLTAGE IS NEEDED IN "ELECTRIC" DRYERS TO HEAT THE COIL FOR MAKING THE AIR HOT.

QuestionWhere are the gas inlet, the vent, and the electrical cord located on the dryer? Helpful information for installation preparation that is not provided in the manual! A picture of the back of the dryer would be most helpful.

- Answer Hi Zen, Yes to both questions. Samsung Dryers, including the DV42H5000GW, do come with the power cords and plugs factory-installed, and it's fine to mount the Dryer on a compatible Pedestal regardless of whether the companion Washer is also on a Pedestal. - Ms. Samsung
