Hi Zen, Yes to both questions. Samsung Dryers, including the DV42H5000GW, do come with the power cords and plugs factory-installed, and it's fine to mount the Dryer on a compatible Pedestal regardless of whether the companion Washer is also on a Pedestal. - Ms. Samsung
