I have the older Sanus VMDD26 which is capable of holding very heavy TVs and can reach 800mm x 600mm attachment points (WxH). You may prefer a non-articulated mount to avoid the higher cost of that flexibility. As for the screws... The VESA mount holes use M6 screws with no more than 10mm penetration into the TV. The screws you use to attach to the wall must be adequate for the weight of the TV plus the wall mount plus any soundbar or other accessories you may hang from the mount. For a stud wall I would recommend the SPAX hardened fasteners in at least 3-inch length (not more than 4-inch assuming you have 3.5-inch studs with 1/2 inch drywall). You should get washers if the mount has slots instead of round holes. Use an impact driver to install the fasteners and pre-drill the pilot hole at least 1/8 smaller than the thread size. Lubricate the fastener with some candle wax or small amount of oil before driving into the stud. Use a minimum of 2 fasteners on each of 2 studs.
