• The general guideline is 9.5 to 15.5 feet (1.2 to 2.5 times the size of the tv) My sofa is just at 10 feet. The kitchen is in back of the small living/family room separated by a half wall. I watch the TV from there at 20-30 feet away and it is great. No complaints.
