Hi Harry! The leg width of the 82Q70T is 65.2" - you will need a stand that is able to fit that size. Stepping up to the Q80T TV, the Q80T utilizes a center pedestal which would allow you to use your existing stand; however, the Q80T comes in either 75" or 85". So it would have to be a really big one if you have it. otherwise I would recommend having it mounted to the wall. The feet are about 6" to the inside of each TV corner when assembled and the product is around 100 Lbs But feels like 60 Lb .
