The 17 7000 series ships with an M.2 format SSD and/or a 2.5"HDD. This drive should be able to replace the HDD or be added into a system with only an SSD (assuming there is not missing mounting hardware -- which I've seen in one laptop, but was acquirable from the manufacturer). To upgrade the SSD, look for an M.2 format SSD such as this: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-960-evo-1tb-internal-pci-express-3-0-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-for-laptops/5678807.p?skuId=5678807
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive should fit in any system with a standard 2.5-inch SATA-3 HDD bay - since it's only 7mm high, you shouldn't have a problem.
