Neither. It's 250. Only if my math is correct: (6gb/3gb)x = y where x = 125. That comes out to 250. Total. Hope this clears up a few things :)

6GB but your MoBo determines the transfer speed. It will run at the slower speed without issues.

It is 6gbs tranfer rate as long as your computer supports it. If not it will work to match the speed of your computer.
