• Dont get a Samsung drive. You will have a nightmare with setup and data migration. Get a Sandisk or other SSD.

• Your laptop currently has a SATA SSD 3 hard disk in it. All of these are generic. Some are just thinner than others. See if the EVO fits before you bother transferring the data. If so, fine, if not return it.
