This drive will work great for you. You can either do an image copy from drive to the another or a clean install on the new drive. I personally prefer the clean install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but the drive will only run at Sata II speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, sata III is backwards compatible with SATA II, but you'll be limited to SATA II speeds...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The drive is a "standard" 2.5" form-factor unit. As long as you have a SATA connection and power connection in the laptop, you should have no problem. Just remember to "format" the drive after installation so your OS can use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an ASUS Q503UA with a Serial ATA 3.0GB/sec, ATA 2.6 / ATA-8 Terra byte drive. The Samsung SSD worked perfectly. Asus says your model has a similar HDD to mine. You say yours is a SATA II so I don't know what you have installed. It is easier to open your computer up and Google the type of drive you have installed now. Mine was a Toshiba mq01abd100. This is a serial ATA which is what the Samsung SSD interface is. If your connection interface looks like my picture than this will work.
