They will not move software with licenses attached to them from your old drive to the new drive. Also note that the $40 doesn't cover any software installation you'd like them to do even if you went ahead and installed the OS on the drive. I'd recommend heading into any Best Buy and talking to a Geek Squad agent who may be able to lay out all the prices for you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy Geek squad will install hard drives, but they charge more than it is worth (in my opinion at least). They make them so simple to transfer and install that if you know how to use a screw driver it is not worth paying them to do it.
