A:AnswerI had to go outside of BB because they didn't carry the proper mounting bracket. I purchased the Sabrent 2.5" SSD & SATA Hard Drive for inside a Desktop PC; part #: BK-HDDH.
In fact I bought three so I would have a couple on-hand. Inexpensive. Just search for it on a couple of the most well-known online resellers.
A:AnswerIt really depends on the mac book pro you are using. If it is from before the MBP Retina, then you should be fine. The newer MBP with Retina don't use a SATA connection any longer, they are using a proprietary mpcie connector.
A:AnswerWhile I can't say with 100% certainty as I don't have your model laptop to look at when I pull up a speech sheet at Toshiba's web site I see no reason it shouldn't work. I suggest you go there and to the online how to videos on how to replace a hard drive. You may want to invest in a drive cloning kit that comes with a USB adapter and software to clone your existing HD to the new SSD.
