I'm not sure exactly which model you have, but I installed into my own HP 15.6 inch Envy m6 laptop, and it fits perfectly. I would think you'd be okay as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will make your system 10x faster. Download Clonezilla and burn it to USB, do a clone... Buy the 2.5” USB adapter. 1: Boot your system up with clonezilla off a USB 2: Tell clonezilla to clone your internal 5400rpm drive to ssd. 3: once clone is complete, then system off. Open/remove old drive and replace it with new cloned drive. 4: Boot up system, you’re done! It will boot the first time and once in windows it will ask to restart as it detected new hardware. Reset and enjoy! 994-639-0003
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I swapped drives mainly for durability as the computer will be moved around and stored often. It will also be subject to fairly regular X-rays and handling by TSA, etc. That said, the speed increase is dramatic. If the old magnetic spinning hard drives were as durable as solid state technology I wouldn't have bothered as my 2 in 1 worked fast enough for my needs with the SATA drive that it came with. Hope this helps.
