Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your's has a sata HDD already then it will fit and work but you cannot have both in at the same time. If your HDD bay is empty, then you will need to order the harddrive upgrade kit from Acer to get the small sata cable, shield, and screws - and then you can install the SSD. This would work in addition to the drive the Acer came with. ie you would have two drives in your system with different drive letters and can be setp to work in the manner you need such as 1 boot drive & 1 programs & games drive.
