- Answer As long as you have an existing 2.5 HDD drive bay, it shoulld bolt right up. You will either need a SATA/USB cable or an external drive to clone; unless of course you are doing a clean install of your OS

- Answer No. The 860 EVO SERIES 1TB comes in these three form factors: 2.5-inch size for desktop PCs and laptops, the SATA-based M.2 (2280) or the mSATA for ultra-slim computing devices. None of these forms is the right shape or electrical interface for the Samsung Galaxy View, which uses microSD or microSDHC memories.

- Answer Yes. You will need the appropriate adapter to mount the smaller drive at the exact location where a 3.5" drive's SATA connectors are positioned. Alternatively, you can just plug in the bare drive (without an adapter) but moving the machine around might loosen the drive from the connectors. (I've done both)

- Answer Hi Ivan, I did a quick google search on your motherboard specs, it supports 6 x SATA 6Gb/s connector(s), you should have no problems. This board also supports 2 x M.2 sockets that means you can also use Samsung's M.2 870 Evo drives, they are a bit more expensive by about plus $20.00 more these are much faster spec than 860 Evo!! Please do confirm by referring to your motherboard specs and also get a visual of available unused connectors/ports inside your computer. Hope this helps...

- Answer Didn't need an adapter. Just plugged to in where I removed the existing HDD. I moved the existing HDD to a lower bay and bought a SATA cord to hook it to the board and now I have an empty HDD to store "stuff"

- Answer Depending on the model., the only requirement would be if the hardware can accommodate a regular HD or a SSD. The Samsung will work fine. If the OS is in good shape, you can clone your system to the new Samsung SSD

- Answer I would suggest checking with Lenovo, but it should be compatible with any SATA 2.5" drive. If you are replacing the drive in the Yoga 2 Pro, you will need a device to clone the internal drive.
