This should work fine. It's basically the same as a standard 2.5" laptop drive. The only thing I would make sure of is that your laptop bios is up to date before installing since some older HP bios restrict installing 3rd party SSDs.

But make sure you have access to a Windows install disc or USB to install windows on, since you'll need to remove the 320gb drive which has your windows install on it.

Please try again later.Hi Dave if your computer has a SATA 2.5 drive right now it will definitely fit; you can check the computer specs to check if it has a SATA port inside and also you might need either software to clone your current drive to the SSD or a USB/DVD with your desired Operating System to have it installed once you install the new SSD.
