• This SSD -indeed any SSD- will not interface with a smart phone. If yours has a micro-SD card slot, using one of those would provide your solution.

• No. It's a stand alone solid state drive. A piece of hardware that you install in your desktop or laptop.

• This is Solid-State Drive intended to be installed into a computer or laptop in order to work. You cannot directly attach your phone to this device.

• yes any type of data can be stored on this drive. As long as you can hook your phone to your computer and it is recognized you should be able to transfer the data to that drive.
