The best way is know for certain is to go to Dell's website and verify that your xps supports a 2.5 inch drive. Not sure from the model number if this is desktop or laptop. If its a desktop you may need to order a 2.5 inch adaptor to fit a standard desktop drive bay. If its a laptop as long as it supports a 2.5 in drive this one will fit just fine.

There's a YouTube video showing the "Disassembly, Cleaning, and Upgrade..." of that model; once inside it shows a slightly older (grey vs black) Samsung SSD.
