Yes, either use a dock or just a USB to SATA cable (what I used) to connect. I used Mini Tool Partition Wizard to copy my existing drive to the SSD and then just swap them. Once I figured out the right tool, it worked very well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can buy a separate external hard drive case/adapter that will house the SSD, and that includes a USB 3.0 to SATA adapter cable. I bought one in little computer shop, but you can order them online.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could get a SATA enclosure and put this SSD in that enclosure. THen you can use it as an external SSD hard drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can put it in an external enclosure and use it just like you would use a standard HDD as an external drive. The only issue would be lining up the data/power connectors on the SSD to those on the external enclosure, if you are trying to use a standard 3.5" HDD external enclosure. Best to get an external enclosure specifically made for 2.5" and/or SSD drives, then it should be no problem at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can do a google search for "how to use an internal hard drive as an external drive" for a complete write up to better explain and assist you with this. It'll be the same for the SSD as they use the same connection.
