The Short answer is NO this SSD will NOT fit, The macbook Air has unique mSata connection. Interestingly, while the drives are all limited to a PCIe 2.0 x2 interface, the MacBook Air logic boards all support PCIe 2.0 x4, opening up the possibility to upgrade to the faster four channel drives found in Gen. 4. and the best solution is an nvme adapter https://www.amazon.com/Sintech-Adapter-Upgrade-2013-2015-MacBook/dp/B01CWWAENG with the Samsung 960 Evo or Pro and the latest iOS to support the nvme drive type. The pins are different thanks to the proprietary Apple designers and need an adapter to fit standard M.2 drives. You will need the iOS downloaded onto a USB drive to make this drive bootable, YouTube videos on this are plentiful. Hope thias helps get more out of your Air for years to come. The Nvme drives have up to 3200MB/s. For more on the hardware https://beetstech.com/blog/apple-proprietary-ssd-ultimate-guide-to-specs-and-upgrades#hdr-13
