• I think laptop hard disk drive's are standardized at 2.5" width with heights (thickness) of 9.5mm or 7mm. The Samsung 860 EVO has the same dimensions as a 7mm 2.5" mechanical drive, so if the Dell currently has a mechanical hdd it should fit. I googled and couldn't find a 1050N but did find an Inspiron N5010 line. If that is the same, there is a YouTube video ("Dell Inspiron n5010 Hard Drive Remove") showing replacement of the drive, which is a standard Western Digital Blue series mechanical drive.
