You do not need to upgrade to an SSD for storage space alone, unless you want more speed and faster data retrieving. If you're not a computer enthusiast, then i suggest just purchasing a larger HDD or Hard Disk Drive for a laptop. More often than not an SSD for a laptop will be roughly double the price than just a HDD, for the same amount of space. Hope this helps. :)
