Q: QuestionOk what external 1TB ssd drive is compatible with a Mac Book Air? - that u have in stock.
Asked by Alan.
- A:Answer Any external drive is compatible with your MacBook Air. It only needs to have the correct cable to connect to your USB port meaning if your MacBook Air has a USB-C port you must use a USB-C cable.

Q: QuestionWill it work with a Mac Book Air?
Asked by Alan.
- A:Answer No, as far as I know many of the MacBook air from 2012-2017 uses a special kind of proprietary hard drive that looks similar to a memory stick that can be inserted. But the recent MacBook air 2018/2019 I don't believe it is upgradable. So this kind of product you are asking question for is used for most desktop and Windows laptops, but some ?Macs and earlier Macbooks could use it but not Air.

Q: QuestionI'm buying this for a friend who needs a new hard drive. Is this something that works with most desktops? And do I need to buy anything to go with it?
Asked by Compatibility.
- A:Answer It should work with almost ANY desktop, but you will have to buy a housing unit because the SSD is significantly smaller than a standard drive, so the mount will help it screw into place.
