Hi Steve, There are many reasons this could happen. What you are looking for as far as audio clarity is concerned is a minimum of 3 channels. This has 9 so you're good there. Otherwise you would want to change the sound settings to something like "Amplify", or even "Night Mode". These will tend to accentuate dialogue while tuning down other channels.
