“It says "gaming" in the title. Does this make it optimized for a gaming system as opposed to a computer used for general purposes like web browsing, file management, document and spreadsheet work and some video editing? Or would it work just as well?”

• I put it in my dual monitor school PC, I do music recording and producing on it. It will work for anything. Did I mention it is silent and absolutely stupid fast? cheers

• "Gaming" in the title means absolutely nothing. Just marketing hype. It is GOOD for EVERTHING but gamers will benefit from it giving speedy game load times. FAST is just FAST. And this thing is just FAST.

• This drives performs as well as 970 series Samsung drives and better than WD Black in my experience. At a fraction of the price, it was a great purchase for me.
