Thank you for reaching out with your question, Nini! These earbuds do have a slightly better quality than those that come with a phone in it's box. Partly this is due to the more snug fit and shape which helps them to cancel out a bit more background noise than the ones that come with the device. I hope that helped answer your question! ^Viv
