• You will need to stand on a stool to reach the back of the tub. I'm 5'5" and have to stretch to reach the back of the tub.

• No you will not reach the bottom, Trust me I am 5' 7 and can barely reach the small items left behind. Unless I have shoes on

• I own this washer with my husband. I am 5 feet tall and I cannot reach the bottom of it to get socks or smaller items. I have to use a stool or grabbing tool. That part sucks but the washer is otherwise excellent.
