The washer was on the recall list, mine was promptly replaced with the new washer with "the fix" by Best Buy when Samsung got the problem fixed. There are currently no more of the washers with the problem the recall was for being sold-all that stock was recalled and replaced. Same washer, other than addressing that problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend the washer. It is one that was recalled but the issue has been corrected in this model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this washer was recalled, but only ones manufactured during a certain time. I purchased the recalled washer last year and then discovered about the recall. I contacted Samsung and they offered me two options. 1. Send a repairman out to fix the washer. 2. Offering a $550 rebate towards the purchase of a new Samsung washer. Since this was part of a set, I really wanted the same washer so I checked Best Buy and they had the later manufactured washer, with the fix implemented. I purchased this one and waiting for my rebate that will cover the entire cost of the new replacement washer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope, this is to replace the recalled model. My husband has commented that this one doesn't seem to make as much noise as the other one (which was the recalled model).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The funny thing was, when mine was delivered, the serial number was looked at and determined not to be one of the recalled ones. Yet a couple of weeks later, I saw on the news that more had been recalled so I called the store and mine WAS on the recall list. So Best Buy just sent out an exchange model and I even saved money as the price at that time was lower than when I bought originally.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.AA on end of model is not a recall. It is replacement for recalled washer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The short answer is no. It's actually not legal to sell a washer (or anything) that has been recalled. My old Samsung top-loading washer was one of the ones that was recalled, Samsung is reimbursing me to replace my old washer, I bought this one, looked it up on the recall list and it wasn't on there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Recall depends on the serial # as well as the model #. For this model, if the serial # starts with OE6E5 then it is part of the recall. Check the Samsung web site for accurate information.
