• you don't put batteries in it ...it is rechargeable just plug it in to charge it.

• You charge the mini pak from a computer or the wall with a USB wall wart and then charge phone kindle or any device you need to no batteries needed LOVE mine keep it in my purse great if my phone is running low especially when traveling
