• Built in means wi-fi works instantly with your wireless router. It picks it up and all you need to do is enter your password to connect to your wireless router.

• The WiFi is built in. No need to purchase a separate adapter or run an ethernet cord if you have wifi.

• It means that there is a wireless card built into the unit -- which means that it will receive the wifi signal from your router with no other accessories needed. (just the password)

• "Built-in" simply means the feature is designed as part of the product. For example, "built-in Wi-Fi" means the device has a physically installed Wi-Fi adapter.
