This Blu-Ray player can be connected to a Home Theater system. The unit itself doesn't power the speakers - rather, it would connect to an audio receiver that can amplify the audio signal so that there's power for the speakers. A receiver with an HDMI pass-through, or by using the Coaxial Digital Audio Out jack are the two ways this can be connected to a receiver. Thanks for your support of Samsung products. --Mr.Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since this product only has 1 HDMI output, you can connect it to the amplifier of a home theatre system that has HDMI inputs. Then you can connect from the HDMI out of the amp to your TVs HDMI input. One such device that I own is the SONY DA2400ES AV Amplifier. This product also has a digital audio output which you can connect to your amplifier's digital audio input (if it has one) if you do not want to connect your TV through your amp.
