• WiFi ready means that you have to buy an additional piece to receive the transmission. Usually a usb type device that looks like a thumb drive.

• Wi-Fi Ready means an adapter is available from the manufacturer which will allow you to use Wi-Fi with the device. Wi-Fi built-in means it is ready to go.

• I'm not sure there is actually a difference other than the wording. Unless you need to add a wifi adaptor which I'm not even sure exists for bluray players.

• Wifi ready means it has the port or connection to connect your device to the internet via wired Ethernet cable. Wifi built in means you can connect your device to the internet without wires or cables. It will detect any wifi signal in the house and connect to it if you choose to connect to that in home wifi signal.

• Wi fi ready needs an adapter. Wi fi built in will connect right to your home wi fi without adding an adapter.
