“Does the netflix app include closed captioning? My current blu-ray player is an LG and the Netflix app does not offer closed captioning. Before I buy another one, I'd like this feature.”

• Yes it does, but it's not for all films, I think that's on Netflix's part though.

• chushin, Yes. While not all titles available from Netflix will have subtitles, the ones that do will show the subtitles if you choose that option. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S

• Had the same problem with previous bluray. This Samsung brings up closed caption as an option and it works great. Even has cc button on remote as I recall (out of town right now).

• I'm not sure that the app has the cc feature. The television itself will do this. Most video usually has close caption encoding in the signal.

• We use the close captioning on everything. Wouldn't have purchased it if it didn't have the option.

• Not sure, but I used the closed caption on my tv while watching a movie in Netflix and it worked!
