This is unfortunate for those that have older HD sets without HDMI. The DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) made analog video connections on BD players illegal so if you need a player with component (Red, Blue, Green) or Composite (Yellow) video connections your best bet is tracking down an older (pre-owned) player or buying a new TV.
