Hi Picki Yes, the fridge does have a Sabbath mode, which you can turn on and off. Please see page 36 of the manual for more details on activating /deactivating the sabbath mode of the fridge. The last thing I need is my fridge not working correctly because of someone else’s childish religious beliefs and their need to have their fridge help them carry them out. I do know that my lawn mower won’t operate when the Easter bunny is on the loose. Also, my tooth floss can’t be dispensed when the tooth fairy is on vacation.
