Q: Questionwill this cover and it locks are reliable if accidentally dropped from 1 or 2 meter height?

• A:Answer This is a great case and should protect your tablet from a very short fall. The magnet is very strong and will probably stay closed if dropped. I have tried one other case that Best Buy sells but returned it. That one didn't have the sleep/wake function. This one does. Hopefully this answer helps.

• A:Answer I'm quite certain that it will not. This cover is customized for the Galaxy Tab S 8.0. The tablet has spring-loaded indents on the back that are designed for this cover to attach. I also believe the tablets are quite different in size - they have different screen aspect ratios.
