Tighten the sodastream bottle. As it screws in, you should hear a slight momentary hiss which marks the depression of the valve to allow the gas to flow into the fridge. You will also need to depress the soda function button on the front panel.

But, once we tighten the stream into its place and secured it, we need to let the sparkling water option on, by holding the option on the front door for 3 secs so that the carbonation process starts. After 20 mins, you can get soda by pulling down the sparkling water lever at the water dispenser and slightly holding down the small lever that reads as Sparkling Water for dispensing soda.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem too until I realized you also have to push down the white latch where you screw the bottle in. In other words, take the SS bottle and screw it in, (don't force it) then push the white plastic latch down over the screw head, close the SS compartment, the push the "Sparkling Maker" button on the front. It's the button on the right out of the three. Wait 30 mins, and you'll have your soda.
