You can use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse without using the DEX. If you insert your phone into the DEX it will turn the phone screen off. Anytime I move my Bluetooth mouse a curser icon (just like on a computer) shows up on the phone screen and you can use it to click on items on your phone.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You must use a monitor with the dex cause when you plug your phone in the screen goes blank. I would suggest using the mini plug that came with your phone and plug in a USB keyboard and mouse combo.
