Q: this is a brand new item. WHY is it SOLD OUT?????
A: It's because the item hasn't been released everywhere yet. The dock just started showing up here a couple days ago even though the phone was released on the 21st. I ordered one from Amazon and finally got it today, so I assume Best Buy will be getting them in any day.
A: Everything on the monitor will be just as fast as it is on the phone's screen. There is an HDMI connect directly between the DeX station and the monitor.
A: No, this only works with the S8 and S8+.
Q: Will this work for the Note 8? if not which one works for the Note 8?
A: I have one and it works with the Galaxy Note 8.
Q: Will this work for a note 9?
A: Yes...it works with galaxy 8, 9 and note 9. It is awesome...it converts your smartphone into a laptop. Love it.

A: Yes it will work. The only thing is, it will not fit with a big case.
