- Answer The dock doesn’t work with a case. The case needs to be removed to be able to use Dex.

- Answer Yes. Both the DeX pad and original dock work well with the Note 9. I use the DeX pad at my office and the DeX dock at home.

- Answer Dock is powered and has USB to connect a keyboard and mouse. S8 supposedly has dex capability.

QuestionWill this work with a S8 I'm hanging onto my S8 till hopefully the Note 10 comes out next year so hopefully itll work for either. My phone works faster than my mini desktop I bought for faster browsing so this would be perfect.

- Answer It works perfectly with the Note8, using it right now to type this response. This is the coolest gadget I have bought in some time. I no longer lug my laptop to/from work, just my Note8. At work I plug into a usb keyboard and bluetooth mouse and I have a full desktop. I log into my work VPN via Citrix Receiver and run a full instance of Windows. Pretty awesome.
