“Will this work with a S8 I'm hanging onto my S8 till hopefully the Note 10 comes out next year so hopefully itll work for either. My phone works faster than my mini desktop I bought for faster browsing so this would be perfect.”

Yes it is, as the own Samsung website states. "* DeX Station, DeX Pad, HDMI Adapter, Multi Port Adapter, and HDMI/Charging cable are sold separately. *** Certain apps may not run or require separate license (for purchase) on Samsung DeX. **** DeX Pad is also compatible with Galaxy S8/S8+, Note8, S9/S9+, and Note9."
