Does it have buil-in cooling fan? null

Not that I can tell. There are small vents on the side, but I can't hear a fan sound during use.

I am not sure it is a cooling fan. But I do hear a fan sound. Kind slightly noisy if you do work at at night. I place it right next to me at desktop area, and I hear the the sound. Maybe if you place at the other side of the room, I do not think you can hear it. 

I am not sure whether I receive a defective one. Will order the second one and let see.

Yes it does. I have seen a few reviewers say that the fan could become slightly loud when the device is under heavy usage but I’ve not experienced that yet with the few weeks of use.

No cooling fan. I have checked heat on this unit for the week that I have now owned it. Neither the unit nor my phone have heated up any more than just slightly warm.
