I've found Samsung as well as Zagg (who makes an excellent protective cover for the Samsung 8) and others have some products that are identical but the model number is specific to Best Buy. My charge is exactly like my sons. Just be sure to get one labeled Fast Charging and you'll be fine.

A:AnswerI've done this a number of times as I have about an hour commute. Just need to have a safe place to have the charger and phone sit so not susceptible to change of speed/direction that comes with driving a car in traffic. It also prevents annoying feedback that occurs with having the phone plugged directly into both aux and charge cable.
